Privacy
Your avatar files never leave your machine.
LAS does its work on your PC, not on our servers. The avatars, outfits, and textures you customize are never uploaded to us, and every kind of report the app can send starts switched off. This page lists exactly what each option sends.
What the app can send, only if you turn it on
01 Crash reports
If you turn on "Send crash reports automatically" and the app crashes, it sends us the error message and a cleaned stack trace, the technical trail of what the code was doing when it failed. Folder names that could identify you are removed before anything leaves your PC. Your files, avatar names, product names, and anything you type are never included. Reports go to Sentry, an error tracking service, and are stored on servers in the European Union.
02 Everything else stays local
The other privacy options, detection improvement notes and the session timeline, save to files on your own PC and are never sent anywhere. If you want us to see one, you export a report file yourself and share it by hand.
What a crash report actually contains
A crash report is a short technical record like this one. The ~ marks are where folder names were removed before sending.
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What normal use involves
01 Update checks
Like most desktop apps, LAS asks our update server for the latest version list when it starts. The request carries no account, no identifier, and nothing about your avatars. We count this traffic in daily totals by country to understand how many installs are active.
02 Purchases and license checks
Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, so your card details never reach us or the app. If you activate a license key, the app confirms it with our license server, sending only the key itself and an anonymous device code.
This website
01 Cookieless analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across the web. Installer downloads are counted the same way, with no cookies and no identifiers.
02 The waitlist
Joining the waitlist stores your email address so we can send you one launch announcement. Write to [email protected] any time and we will delete it.
Questions about any of this? Ask us at [email protected] or in the Discord. The switches themselves live in the app under Settings, then Privacy.
